Testek Solutions is seeking a system and process-oriented Operations Manager, who will take ownership of Testek's ERP system to move the company towards a fully intergraded Engineering to Manufacturing handoff and help define and improve overall utilization of the system (Epicor). The Operations Manager will also own and help define plant capacity, manufacturing tracking, and scheduling, including KPIs and Scorecards. The Ops Manager will also be heavily involved in integration work and process improvements of future bolt-on acquisitions.

Duties:

• Lead the integration of Legacy BOMs and Engineering processes into Epicor
• Evaluate and define gaps and process improvements in Epicor
• Evaluate and define shop floor tracking, including but not limited to capacity planning, internal production tracking, inventory management, and scheduling.
• Evaluate and make recommendations on organizational process improvements (5s, Six Sigma, etc)
• Progress reporting and KPI reporting to management weekly/monthly
• Lead integration work of future acquisition into Epicor ERP, and help define and implement operational improvements of those acquisitions.
• Work across the organization to help train various groups on process improvements
• Work hand in hand with Program Management to identify issues that may affect program scheduling.

Requirements:

• Has been a lead on a major ERP implementation. Epicor preferred but not required.
• Has a deep understanding of Engineering BOM and how to manage BOMs in an ERP environment (how to effectively hand off the BOM to purchasing/manufacturing).
• Operation Management experience in an Engineering/Manufacturing environment where individual had been charged with process controls, with a focus on system optimization.
• Experience with inventory management.
• Degree in Engineering and/or Management preferred, but not required.
