JOB TITLE: Adjunct Professor of Accounting

SUMMARY
The Adjunct Professor of Accounting is a non-tenure-track, part-time position in the College of Business and Information Technology (CoBIT).
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: include the following. Other duties may be assigned as deemed necessary.
- Teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in various Accounting classes
- Research and publication in quality journals (recommended but not required)
- Industry experience (recommended but not required)
- Participation in activities in support of AACSB accreditation (negotiable)
- Service to the department, college, and university (negotiable)
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
PhD or Master's in Accounting or related field, or graduate degree in an area that enables the candidate to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in the field of Accounting. Applicants with relevant professional certifications such as CPA, CFA, or CMA are preferred.
