Temporary Cardiology Biller

ProHealth Partners is an established multi-specialty physician group and has been providing care to patients over the last 30 years. Our network includes over 250+ physicians in over 100+ clinics throughout the greater Long Beach, Los Angeles, Orange County, and Inland Empire areas.

Temporary Full-time

$28-32 per hour

Monday-Friday, 8-hour shifts

• Submit accurate and timely professional claims for cardiology services
• Review charges for completeness, accuracy, and compliance prior to submission
• Handle payment posting, adjustments, and reconciliation
• Follow up on unpaid, underpaid, and denied claims
• Research and resolve claim denials and payer rejections
• Work appeals, including medical necessity and coding-related denials
• Verify insurance eligibility and benefits as needed
• Communicate with insurance companies, patients, and internal staff regarding billing issues
• Maintain compliance with payer guidelines, HIPAA, and regulatory standards
• Assist with AR reporting and aging follow-up

• Minimum 2-3 years of cardiology billing experience
• Experience in Cardiology or cardiovascular practice
• Strong knowledge of cardiology CPT codes (E/M, diagnostic testing, procedures)
• Experience billing Medicare, Medi-Cal, and commercial payers
• Familiarity with claim denials, appeals, and payer follow-up
• Proficiency with EMR/EHR and practice management systems
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

• Cardiology Billing, preferred
• Knowledge of CPT/ICD Codes, preferred
• Medicare, Medi-Cal, and commercial experience
