Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced SAP In-House Banking & Advanced Payment Management (IHB/APM) Technical Co-Lead to support and steer a complex SAP finance transformation programme.

The consultant will combine strong technical expertise in payments and bank statements with leadership and stakeholder management capabilities, acting as a technical counterpart to functional leads and ensuring stable, scalable payment solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as Technical Co-Lead for SAP In-House Banking (IHB) and Advanced Payment Management (APM).
• Steer design and delivery from a technical/IT perspective, ensuring alignment with SAP standards and enterprise architecture.
• Lead and coordinate technical activities related to:
  • Payment's processing
  • Bank statements (MT940, CAMT, etc.)
  • In-House Banking structures
  • Payment workflows and monitoring
• Work closely with Finance, Treasury, SAP FI, integration, and Middleware teams.
• Provide technical guidance to internal teams and external partners.
• Support troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and optimisation of payment flows.
• Ensure clear communication and alignment across stakeholders (business, IT, vendors).

Must-Have Skills & Experience

• Strong hands-on experience with SAP In-House Banking (IHB) and Advanced Payment Management (APM) .
• Proven expertise in payments and bank statement processing within SAP.
• Ability to lead and steer from a technical/IT perspective.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills, capable of coordinating multiple teams.
• Experience working in complex SAP finance or transformation programmes.

Preferred/Nice to Have

• Experience in SAP S/4HANA Finance environments.
• Knowledge of treasury, cash management, and bank connectivity (SWIFT, host-to-host).
• Experience working in large enterprise or global rollout projects.
