As an SAP Security and Authorization Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the security and compliance within our organization's SAP system. You will play a pivotal role in the development, implementation, and monitoring of security policies, role concepts, and authorization configurations. As a German-speaking expert, you will understand the specific requirements of our German-speaking clients and support them with all aspects related to SAP security and authorization.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop, implement, and maintain SAP security policies and processes to ensure the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of data.
2. Design and implement authorization concepts, user roles, and profiles in close collaboration with functional departments to ensure that access rights are appropriate and compliant.
3. Perform security reviews, risk assessments, and audits to identify and rectify potential security gaps and vulnerabilities.
4. Monitor user access and permissions, investigate and resolve security incidents, and provide guidance on security best practices.
5. Stay up-to-date with SAP security trends, technologies, and best practices, and proactively recommend improvements to enhance security posture.
6. Collaborate with IT teams, business stakeholders, and external partners to address security-related requirements and concerns.
7. Provide training and support to end-users and colleagues on SAP security and authorization topics.
8. Act as a subject matter expert for SAP security and authorization matters, providing guidance and expertise to project teams and stakeholders.
9. Fluent German language skills are required to effectively communicate with German-speaking clients and stakeholders.
