Business Development Lead - Defence (Hybrid: Cambridgeshire/Essex)
We're looking for a Business Development Lead to grow the Defence business, winning complex, high-value opportunities and shaping long-term client relationships.
You'll work with technical and multidisciplinary teams to deliver tailored solutions, from concept to deployment, across areas such as radar, telematics, and advanced communications systems.
What you'll do:
- Identify and pursue new Defence opportunities, managing the full bid and sales process
- Build and maintain strong client relationships
- Collaborate with technical teams to scope solutions and support delivery
- Engage partners to strengthen large or complex bids
- Generate leads through events, networking, and targeted outreach
What we're looking for:
- Proven success selling into Defence markets
- Structured sales and bid experience
- Strong account management skills
- Engineering or science background ideal
- Technical and commercial credibility to engage confidently with clients
