A leading innovative organisation is currently looking to recruit a Java Developer to assist in developing my clients core product. The main task will be writing Java web-based software in a Linux environment. The successful Java Developer, will work on applications that are data-intensive and therefore a very good knowledge of SQL is essential. Knowledge of Objective-C would be a bonus. This role will suit a developer who can concentrate on goals and estimate required effort and time accurately. You will work with highly experienced experts in the field of high-volume, high-resilience and high-security software. Even if you already have attained high proficiency in Java development, you will likely be challenged as we continuously provide market-leading innovative products to our clients.
Key skills:
- Proficient in JAVA
- Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5, CSS3
- Proficient in client-side Scripting and JavaScript frameworks, including jQuery
- Good understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX
- Good understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them
- Good understanding of Linux
- Good understanding of PostgreSQL
