QA Team Lead (Contract)

Location: Birmingham, West Midlands, England Country: UK Rate: £400 per day + DOE
 

SCC Flex Contract: QA Team Lead- £400 per day +DOE - Inside IR35 - Hybrid - Birmingham

As an QA Team Lead, you will:

  • Understand project needs and prepare testing strategies.
  • Set quality measures and success criteria with stakeholders.
  • Calculate testing budgets and estimate resources.
  • Prepare/update detailed testing plans and assign tasks.
  • Lead/support defect management, triage, and track fixes.
  • Oversee team progress and performance, providing support as needed.
  • Bridge communication between development teams, stakeholders, and the test team.
  • Generate and present test result reports for informed decision-making.

The successful QA Team Lead will have experience in:

  • Project requirements to prepare the testing strategy, setting quality measures and defining success criteria with stakeholders.
  • Calculate testing budgets and estimate effort and time resources.
  • Prepare/update the detailed testing plan and assign tasks to team members.
  • Lead/support the defect management process, triage, escalation, and progress of fixes/CRs.
  • Previous experience managing a small testing team.
  • General testing experience across UAT/Manual and Automated testing.
