Are you a skilled Quality Engineer with a passion for ensuring excellence in supplier and site assurance?
We have a 6 month contract, based in Reading with some UK travel, for a Supplier Assurance Quality Engineer
Role Context:
As part of the Health, Safety, Quality, and Environment team within the People function, you will play a vital role in managing supplier accreditation and assurance, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development of Supplier Accreditation and Assurance Model in collaboration with Commercial and Health & Safety functions.
- Define and implement supplier assurance policies, standards, and processes to ensure clarity and competency when working on the network.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities for IT tooling enhancements for managing and monitoring supplier accreditations.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the MBNL ecosystem, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.
What We're Looking For:
- Proven track record in Supplier Quality Assurance and/or Supplier Development.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Experience in quality assurance, supplier audit, and process analysis.
- Analytical mindset with a systematic approach to work.
- Ability to challenge and resolve problems effectively.
- Asset/site infrastructure background - telecoms, rail, constuction, highways etc
Nice to Have:
- Understanding of the Telecommunications and Construction industries.
- Experience working within a managed services ecosystem.
