PAM Engineer - 6 Month Contract - Inside IR35 - Hybrid

Join a global automotive organization at the forefront of innovation and excellence in the automotive industry. Our client is seeking a PAM Engineer to join our team in the Midlands office.

The role is signed off inside IR35 on an initial 6 month with the view to extension up to 12 months.

As a PAM (Privileged Access Management) Engineer, you will have overall responsibility for the development and maintenance of PAM & EPM (Endpoint Privilege Management) policies and procedures. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the security and integrity of our organization's privileged access systems.

Key Requirements:

  • Develop and maintain Privileged Access Management (PAM) and Endpoint Privilege Management (EPM) policies and procedures
  • Continuously improve the PAM process, including alignment with IAM specific processes, to ensure the least privileged access is provided for the minimum time possible.
  • Identify PAM & EPM associated risks and take proactive measures to identify, assess, and mitigate these risks throughout the organization
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for any PAM & EPM alerts or issues raised by other departments or detected by monitoring systems, facilitating timely resolution and proactive management.

What you Will Ideally Bring:

  • Project experience within Microsoft PIM/PAM
  • Possess deep technical proficiency in identity management and privilege escalation within Microsoft environments, including Windows Operating Systems & Active Directory, as well as Linux-based operating systems (both desktop and server) and core infrastructure components such as networks and databases.
  • Profound knowledge of Endpoint Privilege Management governance principles and best practices.
  • Demonstrated experience in mitigating information security risks related to privilege escalation on endpoints.
  • Familiarity with industry IT compliance standards
