IT Support Engineer (Permanent)
Location: Swindon, Wiltshire Country: UK Rate: £32k - £40k per annum
We are pleased to be partnering exclusively with a business in Swindon who are looking to recruit an IT Support Technician to join the their growing Service Desk team. You will be responsible for providing 1st and 2nd line support to all end-user queries across their core desktop technologies such as MS365, InTune, Sharepoint, Azure AD. You will also have an opportunity to specialise in a certain area of your choice - either Cyber/Information Security, Networking or Infrastructure!
The role will include a blend of BAU support and project work, supporting the organisation's focus on their modernisation initiatives.
Key responsibilities include:
- Manage all IT service requests through to resolution within agreed SLA
- Provide 1st and 2nd line technical support either via phone, remote tooling, emails
- Install and configure hardware and software
- Operate and recommend continual improvements across all desktop technologies
- Supporting a range of systems, software and hardware - MS365 administration, InTune, Azure AD/Entra ID, TCP/IP Concepts, OneDrive
- Supporting IT governance, documentation, different security frameworks
Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience in a Desktop Support, 2nd Line role
- Ability to triage and troubleshoot a range of IT queries
- Previous experience supporting IT projects
- Ability to prioritise and manage end-user queries
Salary on offer is up to £40,000 with hybrid working (3 days a week in Swindon once training is complete)
