The Opportunity:
As Scrum Master you will provide agile methodology services to cross-functional teams, demonstrating an understanding of the product(s) and associated business areas. You will apply functional expertise to improve productivity of teams and quality of work processes and outcomes. Product often have divisional implications.

Key aspects of role and responsibilities:

  • Provide insight on best practices for high performing teams in the delivery of product or projects, ensuring team actions are aligned with project goals.
  • Facilitate planning, team learning, and assists adaptation of processes to ensure the quality of team solutions.
  • Encourage a continuous learning environment to strengthen the team's understanding of Agile/Scrum concepts and principles.
  • Apply methodology that supports the integration of changing customer inputs and business conditions into product development.
  • Work with product owner and management to define and prioritize outcomes. Identifies trade-offs between short and long-term benefits to drive shared vision between the team and product owner.
  • Ensure the application of agile frameworks to the development process to increase efficiency of product development.
  • Lead daily scrum meetings, iteration reviews and maintains backlogs.
  • Identifies and may remove roadblocks to product development.

Key skills/experience required:

  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience required.
  • Minimum of five years related work experience.
  • Two years of leading large cross-functional teams on major organizational projects preferred.
