Data Analyst (Contract)

Location: Caerphilly Country: UK Rate: £18.89 per hour
 

Our client is a large government organisation and looking for an experienced Data Analyst to join their team

This is initially a 3 month contract which may be extended for the right candidate

You will

Provide technical support for the information management systems used by the business Catering, Finance and Education departments, ensuring information is held in accordance with regulatory requirements, accurate and suitable to meet reporting requirements.

Responsible for collating, recording, and managing data across multiple health and local authority information management systems.

Responsible for ensuring data across Post Office and local authority information management systems is accurate.

Develop, produce and analyse performance information to support operational management and meet corporate and statutory requirements.

Provide financial support in respect of the implementation of the grants programme within the business and associated packages.

Provide financial advice and assistance in respect of all aspects of the grants programme and provide financial advice on strategic planning and project evaluation.

Ensure all relevant information required in the production of the Council's statutory final accounts is provided within the stipulated timetable.

Produce regular budget monitoring reports and other financial information in accordance with approved timetables.

Ensure grant claims and income are received and properly accounted for within the financial system.

Assist in the financial evaluation of projects for which applications for funding have been received and/or are being considered for submission.

Submit timely claim forms in respect of grant funding in accordance with timetables and grant audit instructions.

Submit Certificates of Annual Expenditure to Welsh Government and auditors for each grant award.

Liaise with auditors in the production of annual audit certificates for each grant award and deal with any queries that may arise.
