We are currently working with a market leading company within the financial services who are recruiting a passionate, enthusiastic and driven Digital Business Partner to join their technology team during an exciting period of growth. The position gives the right candidate the opportunity to define their own role within the business long term through a variety of interesting upcoming projects that will drive continuous change and improvement across all of the businesses operations.

What you will be doing:

  • Work closely with key stakeholders to understand their objectives and ensure that technology initiatives are aligned with overarching business goals.
  • Ensure that the direction of IT initiatives and investments is in sync with the broader strategic direction of the organisation.
  • Build strong partnerships with business leaders and external stakeholders to foster a culture of innovation and collaboration.
  • Drive demand for IT solutions and identify opportunities to integrate new technologies into business operations.
  • Tailor technology solutions to meet the specific needs and expectations of partners and customers.
  • Set the tone for the organisation by modelling desired behaviours such as transparency, accountability, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
  • As the Digital Business Partner, you will champion the strategic plans of your business unit by identifying and aligning opportunities into certain business areas.

Who you will be:

  • You will have a strong background in an IT-related role, with the capacity to comprehend technical discussions and convey information effectively to non-technical individuals.
  • You will be able to demonstrate experience of fostering and maintaining relationships with diverse stakeholders, including business leaders and different IT teams.
  • You will have exceptional interpersonal skills to effectively communicate and collaborate with partners across all levels of the organisation.
  • You will have experience working in the financial services industry, including business knowledge, industry trends and what the industry landscape looks like.
  • You will have the ability to align IT strategy with overarching business goals to drive value and support organisational objectives.
