Payroll Adviser (Contract)

Location: Scotland Country: UK Rate: £195 - £210 per day
 

Payroll Adviser - 9 Month Initial Contract (with extension opportunity) - £195 - £210 a day (Inside IR35) - Hybrid Working: WFH and one of their offices located all around Scotland - Public Sector

Main Duties Include:

This is a Payroll adviser role, reporting to the Senior HR Adviser. The role holder will be responsible for supporting the payroll provision and HR transactional processes.

The role holder will be part of a small team coordinating payroll and HR transaction processing to ensure workforce changes are recorded and actioned. They also manage the provision, analysis and presentation of planned and ad hoc workforce information to support effective decision making and corporate reporting.

Essential Skills:

  • Experience of working with Resourcelink payroll and HR management information (MI) system.
  • Significant working knowledge of the Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS).
  • Knowledge of key legislation, rules and regulations surrounding HR and payroll.
  • Sound knowledge and experience of providing HR analytics and performance reporting.
  • Understanding and experience of identifying and providing management information.
