Hamilton Barnes are thrilled to present an exciting opening to become an Azure Security Engineer within one of the foremost UK Retail Organizations. Joining a vibrant team, you will play a pivotal role in fortifying their Azure infrastructure, platform, and landing zones.
This position offers a 6-month contract with potential for extension, granting you the opportunity to make impactful contributions to a top-tier client. Situated in a London office conveniently close to mainline stations, you'll enjoy the flexibility of a hybrid working setup.
What you will Ideally Bring:
- Strong technical prowess with implementing/integrating azure security solutions.
- Extensive background in maintaining security policies, standards, and procedures for cloud-based systems.
- Understanding and prior experience working within DevSecOps environments.
- Recent experience of Static application security testing (SAST) & dynamic application security testing (DAST).
Key Responsibilities:
- Must have experience working within DevSecOps environments and initiating SAST and DAST.
- Creating and managing security policies for cloud-based systems to ensure compliance with industry regulations and company requirements.
- Creating and implementing security measures to protect cloud-based systems and data.
- Keeping track of security events in cloud environments, identifying security breaches, and responding to them promptly.
- Finding and fixing vulnerabilities in both applications and infrastructure to enhance security.
- Configuring security controls, encryption, access management, and other security mechanisms within the Azure environment.
In summary, the primary responsibilities of this role include creating and managing security policies, implementing security measures, monitoring security events, and managing vulnerabilities within Azure cloud environments. The ideal candidate would possess strong technical expertise in Azure security solutions and a background in developing and maintaining security policies for cloud-based systems.
