Business Analyst (Contract)

Location: Glasgow, Scotland Country: UK Rate: £400 - £500 per day
 

Harvey Nash are now inviting candidates to apply for the role of Business Analyst, please note due to the nature of this project our client is looking for candidates with experience of asset management principles and practices, particularly in industries such as energy, utilities, oil and gas or rail.

  • Inside of IR35 (Umbrella only)
  • Up to £500 a day
  • Scottish location with remote work also available on a Hybrid pattern
  • Previous experience in implementing Maximo solutions in an enterprise setting would be an advantage.

Key Accountabilities& Experience Required

  • A solid understanding of enterprise asset management principles and practices, particularly associated with Maximo and ArcGIS would be an advantage.
  • Work with business system colleagues to clarify requirements, to plan implementation and to answer queries through the development process.
  • Work closely with IT teams and vendors to implement and customise products according to business requirements.
  • Conduct workshops, interviews, and meetings with stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into system requirements.
  • An understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance standards relevant to the industry, such as environmental regulations, safety standards, etc., and how they relate to asset management.
  • Experience from a similar support or development role in supporting the enhancement of business-critical systems in a medium/large scale organisation.
  • Demonstrates a comprehensive breadth and depth of knowledge and experience.
    Hands on experience of tools like Jira and Azure Dev Ops.
  • Prior experience on Agile projects would be a value add.
