Head of Service Delivery/Service Desk Manager

Head of IT Service Delivery- (London/Manchester)

A Leading Investment Management business are looking to hire a Head of IT Service Delivery with experience in leading IT Service Management Operations, leading Service Desk teams and building out mid to large IT service management teams.

  • The role is a Permanent Position
  • The role is paying between £75,000 - £95,000
  • The role is Hybrid working option with plenty of flexibility around Home and Office days.

Skills required:

  • 10+ years of broad experience in IT Service Management, Service architecture, service operations
  • Building out ticketing response platform/team (Service Now etc)
  • Extensive experience in building out IT Service teams of 10+ people
  • Ideally, some financial services, asset management, investment management, insurance or banking experience
  • ITIL, Agile OR ITSM experience
  • Service Delivery Management experience on a large scale.
  • Change & IT Service transition management experience.

The end client needs to offer wider service management solutions, more than just support, so they want to implement a broader service management life cycle function, understanding requirements, service delivery, etc meaning they can offer a much better solution to clients.

Therefore, they need an experienced leader that has a proven track record. This Head of IT Service Management position is to build and transform that team. Currently, at 10+ people, they have quite a few senior consultants who are involved in service delivery and support.

The end client are looking to pay salary of between £70,000 - £90,000 + bonus + benefits
