Test Manager (HR Implementation)

Test Manager (HR Implementation) required urgently for our technology client in Yorkshire. The role in predominantly remote with occasional, expensed travel to their site in North Yorkshire. The right candidate must have demonstrable experience as a Test Manager and must have previous experience working on cloud-based HR Implementations as a Test Manager

As the Test Manager on the project you will be responsible for planning, running and reporting on all of the testing facets of the configuration in conjunction with the BA and functional leads. The Test Manager will be the custodian of accurate and up to date management of all testing (unit/Load/UAT) of Payroll and People functionality of the selected HR system as configured for the client by their selected partner.

In addition to previous Cloud-based HR system implementations, you should also have experience in the following:

• Demonstrable experience in People/Payroll System related projects, including implementation/migration projects
• Solid experience with test automation with experience creating and maintaining test scripts using tools such as Selenium, SpecFlow, Cucumber, FitNesse, CodedUI
• Ability to actively participate in continuous quality improvements of the configuration and processes through automated tests
• Participate in the creation and execution of test plans and test cases
• Help manage the Automation Process. Prioritizing work, determining the automation test plan, and help with escalations
• Expertise in using tools to build test dashboards and reporting on a regular basis
• Coordinate with functional leads to complete testing and support them on the same
• Expertise in using tools to build test dashboards and reporting on a regular basis
• Investigate, report, and track product failures to resolution.
• Investigate and identify false positives that produce automated testing, ensuring the test suite remains up to date
• Create automated tests that are maintainable by other members of your team
• Analyse test results and improve the areas with higher defect trends
• Experience working with SaaS Enterprise Software
• Proficiency with SQL and an understanding of relational database system
• Experience with API's using tools such as Swagger or Postman
• Experience with Content Management Systems (CMS) an asset. eg Umbraco, Orchard, Kentico, Joomla, Drupal, etc.

Candidates must engage via an FCSA accredited Umbrella Company and expenses will be paid for twice monthly travel for onsite work. The role is 4 months initially, though it may be extended.
