iO Associates is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer for a customer that creates and produces packaging for recyclable liquids. Their goods are made to be recycled using the established protocols.

Responsibilities

  • Principal electrical designer on project.
  • Creation of safety mechanisms.
  • Electrical cabinets with intricate designs.
  • Original creator of all electrical drawings.
  • Original creator of all pneumatics drawings.
  • Encourage the construction of electrical cabinets.
  • Take an active part in the machine's development and run-up testing.
  • Assist construction and commissioning teams in identifying electrical problems.
  • Help the controls engineer with the commissioning process.
  • In charge of standards compliance, electrical safety, and electrical risk assessments.
  • The electrical BOMS's origins.

Proficiency and Credentials

  • HNC, HND, or degree in relevant discipline; minimum foundation degree; electrical or mechanical qualification.
  • Electrical experience with SolidWorks OR EPLAN (alternatives can be considered).
