Proxy Product Owner- Paris - 6months + (Freelance)

Global Enterprise Partners is currently looking for an Proxy Product Owner for an exciting project with a global FMCG client of ours.

Requirements for the Proxy Product Owner

• Proven experience in a product owner or similar role within an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Strong understanding of software development processes and life cycle.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
• Ability to understand complex product requirements and translate them into detailed, actionable user stories.
• Experience with backlog management tools (eg, JIRA, Trello) and Agile methodologies.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make quick, effective decisions.
• A positive, team-focused attitude and the ability to work collaboratively.

Job responsibilities:

• Act as a liaison between the Product Owner, development team, and stakeholders to ensure clear communication and understanding of product vision and priorities.
• Gather, analyse, and prioritise customer and stakeholder feedback and requirements.
• Create and maintain an organised and prioritised product backlog, ensuring that all items are clearly described, estimated, and prioritised.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum events, including sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups, ensuring smooth and efficient product development cycles.
• Assist in the development of user stories, acceptance criteria, and ensure the development team fully understands the requirements.
• Monitor product progress throughout the development cycle and make adjustments as necessary to ensure successful delivery.
• Work closely with the QA team to ensure that the products meet quality standards and customer expectations.
