As a Tooling Design Engineer, you will be responsible for Designing 3D models, assemblies, and 2D engineering drawings; make technical decisions, create bills of materials, and assist in problem-solving during manufacturing.

Job Title: Tooling Design Engineer
Location: On-site Munich Germany
Duration: 6 months (Possible Extension)

Responsibilities:

• Design 3D models, assemblies, and 2D engineering drawings for tools, jigs, fixtures, stations, and production equipment.
• Prepare design concepts for review and approval.
• Make technical decisions on design solutions.
• Create bills of materials (BOM) using standard and supplier part catalogues.
• Modify existing designs and document changes.
• Participate in project meetings and design reviews.
• Assist in problem-solving during manufacturing and testing, providing feedback and root cause analysis.
• Perform work-related administrative tasks.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of tooling design experience.
• Minimum 5 years of daily experience using Siemens NX® (NX12-NX2212) for modelling, assembly, and drafting.
• Understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) and industry standards.
• Knowledge of manufacturing methods, materials, and processes.
• Strong IT/computer skills.
• Fluent in English.
